Hello, I dont know if this the default behaviour, but anyway: BOX 1 (5.3 BETA3) ed0 192.168.1.1 ----------------- HUB xl0 no IPv4 address ------+ | 192.168.1.x BOX 2 from BOX 2 I cannot ping 192.168.1.1, but I do have access to the entire network that ed0 is connected (hub). No firewalls envolved. Am I lacking any specific layer 2 knowledge? Is it normal behavivour? Is it a bug? thanks, Paulo Roberto __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
