I am still not sure that I understand this entire ports concept. I, like others I would assume, have found the time that 'portsdb -Uu' takes to run to completion unacceptable. Would I be correct in assuming that I could therefore use the following combination of commands and attain the same results? 1) cvsup ports-supfile 2) make fetchindex 3) pkgdb -Fu 4) portupgrade -aDDPRruv I am not clear about this.
