Hi, Though I recieved several e-mail like you, I've never seen this before. Last Sunday, I also tried to build from clean 5.3-RELEASE, using cvsup'ed ports tree, and install jdk, then type make install at /usr/ports/editors/openoffice-1.1. this took almost one day, but I don't see an error. what is your /etc/make.conf ? mine is: SUP_UPDATE= yes SUP= /usr/local/bin/cvsup SUPFLAGS= -g -L 2 SUPHOST= cvsup3.jp.FreeBSD.org PORTSSUPFILE= /etc/ports-supfile SUPFILE= /etc/stable-supfile MASTER_SITE_OVERRIDE?=ftp://ftp3.jp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/distfiles/${DIST_SUBDIR}/ USA_RESIDENT=NO HAVE_MOTIF= yes COMPAT_3X= yes #CPUTYPE=p4 # -- use.perl generated deltas -- # # Created: Wed Nov 24 21:31:08 2004 # Setting to use base perl from ports: PERL_VER=5.8.5 PERL_VERSION=5.8.5 PERL_ARCH=mach NOPERL=yo NO_PERL=yo NO_PERL_WRAPPER=yo I mean do not specify CPUTYPE... -- NAKATA, Maho
