I know there were some people on the list asking about running Unreal Tournament 2004 on FreeBSD a while back. Mainly, the c++ libraries were what was missing in linux_base. Now that linux_base-rh9 is out, all the required libraries are easy to install. Also, x11/linux-XFree86-libs will be needed. I have UT2004 running in freebsd, but some of the images and player models don't show up and, while the mouse works in the menus, once I get in game, I can't do anything. Any ideas on how to fix this? -- I sense much NT in you. NT leads to Bluescreen. Bluescreen leads to downtime. Downtime leads to suffering. NT is the path to the darkside. Powerful Unix is.
