[-- Attachment #1 --] Hello, is it possible that mtime of a file can be changed without also changing ctime? Vice versa is easy, chmod or similar will do that. But if I change mtime with touch, also ctime gets changed. I ask because I'm about writing a little backup script and want to be sure to capture every file on any imaginable modification when comparing only ctime! Thanks, -Harry [-- Attachment #2 --] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBCQ7oNBylq0S4AzzwRAs6aAJ9udfxV9U5cV3qbk9ExmgpRHNHB6QCcDgxM d9k907uTse5GIIp8df4RKRI= =GDwp -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----home | help
