Hi .. Is there documentation on how to do a kernel upgrade? I am looking at going from 5.3 to 5.4 and I am pretty sure that steps are: (1) upgrade the /usr/src tree (2) recomple the kernel (3) install the new kernel I am not sure of the best or official way of doing (1). Plus, am I missing something essential, like support libraries, changes in the boot process, etc.? Any help appreciated. Regards, -- -mark. (probertm at acm dot org)
