For some time now, I have noticed that the time on my system keeps lagging behind. I reset it with `date 2005MMDDHHMM` but after a few days I see that it's lost quite some hours again? What should I suspect? CMOS battery has been changed, but phenomena is still there. My localtime is set to correctly using sysinstall so I don't doubt it. -Wash http://www.netmeister.org/news/learn2quote.html -- +======================================================================+ |\ _,,,---,,_ | Odhiambo Washington <wash@wananchi.com> Zzz /,`.-'`' -. ;-;;,_ | Wananchi Online Ltd. www.wananchi.com |,4- ) )-,_. ,\ ( `'-'| Tel: +254 20 313985-9 +254 20 313922 '---''(_/--' `-'\_) | GSM: +254 722 743223 +254 733 744121 +======================================================================+ When a fellow says, "It ain't the money but the principle of the thing," it's the money. -- Kim Hubbard
