Hi, I'm trying to install FreeBSD 6.0-RELEASE on a Netra t1 105 over the network (the machine has no CD-ROM). I've set up RARP, TFTP, DHCP and NFS servers, and get to the point that FreeBSD is booting from the NFS-mounted installation CD. The NFS server is Mac OS X Server 10.4.3. It seems to expect that some things are writable when they're not, however: Trying to mount root from nfs: NFS ROOT: 10.0.0.3:/Users/Shared/FreeBSD_Install hme0: link state changed to UP Interface hme0 IP-Address 10.0.0.200 Broadcast 10.0.0.255 Loading configuration files. eval: cannot open /etc/fstab: No such file or directory Entropy harvesting: interrupts ethernet point_to_point kickstart. eval: cannot open /etc/fstab: No such file or directory eval: cannot open /etc/fstab: No such file or directory fstab: /etc/fstab:0: No such file or directory Warning! I imagine I'm doing something wrong, but I can't see what. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, -- Nicholas Riley <njriley@uiuc.edu> | <http://www.uiuc.edu/ph/www/njriley>
