Try using the port but for the older version: Change the version in Makefile and run 'make makesum' to change the checksums (and download the tarball, or copy it to /usr/ports/distfiles before this, as you already have it). It may work. You'll be setting yourself up with a nasty upgrading path to begin with though. HTH, Dan
