Colleagues, here is a patch that merges HEAD em(4) driver to RELENG_6. First, it significantly improves perfromance of the driver under high pps load. Second, it adds support for few new chips. You need to update your system to fresh RELENG_6. The driver will not compile on 6.1-RELEASE. Then you need to run the following sequence: cd /usr/src/sys/dev/em fetch http://people.freebsd.org/~glebius/em-6.0.5.RELENG_6.patch.gz gunzip em-6.0.5.RELENG_6.patch.gz patch < em-6.0.5.RELENG_6.patch and then rebuild your kernel and reboot. -- Totus tuus, Glebius.
