Jedit still says 'no print service found'. Eclipse shows the print menu
disabled. I started both after creating the symlinks.

(need both, 1.4 for linux-firefox and diablo-jdk for everything else... could
this be the problem? maybe links in the /usr/compat/linux? ) diablo is the
first one listed in javavms.
