Hi Lowell:

Thanks for your mail.

On the FreeBSD 6.2-RC1 system, latex is already installed.

Now, when I try to install teTex, it conflicts with the existing installation.

----------------------------------------------------------------
bsd# make install
===>  Installing for teTeX-3.0_1

===>  teTeX-3.0_1 conflicts with installed package(s):
      dvips-5.76
      latex2e-2003.12_1
      tex-3.14159_3

      They install files into the same place.
      Please remove them first with pkg_delete(1).
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/ports/print/teTeX.
----------------------------------------------------------------

Bibliographic style files are required by Bibtex and so I thought
that there would be a single independent package (like mplayer codecs)
that would need to be installed.

thanks
Saifi Khan.
