Ok. But I am still unsure about which files exactly have to be modified on the bootonly cdrom image. I have changed or added boot/loader.conf, boot/loader.conf.local boot/defaults/loader.conf and inside boot/mfsroot.gz etc/rc.conf. But despite all of this I still get: No dumpdevice defined. Why does the kernel claim so? Bye, bye Juergen
