it's SLOW and resource hungry - giving nothing else than a good look. that's why i compare it to windoze. and why you need "desktop" (whatever it means) at all? just window manager is enough, try fvwm2 maybe icewm maybe other etc. all of them does exactly what's needed. windows management and menu. what else do you need to WORK? i mean work, not showing up to your friends.
