There is a wealth of info on the subject. BING or Google it and you
will find that the problem seems to be isolated to 64 bit systems. The
problem seems to have been known for quite some time also, at least on
other OSs. I am wondering where to file a PR against this; ie, Firefox,
Java, perhaps both.
