I run a thinkpad T510 with a:
iwn0: <Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6200> mem 0xf2000000-0xf2001fff irq 17
at device 0.0 on pci3
iwn0@pci0:3:0:0: class=0x028000 card=0x13118086 chip=0x42398086
rev=0x35 hdr=0x00
vendor = 'Intel Corporation'
device = 'Centrino Advanced-N 6200'
class = network
I ran PC-BSD 8.2 on this hardware for ~ 8 months with no real issues using the
wifi.
Last week I upgraded to PC-BSD 9.0-BETA 1.5 which is based off of 9.0-BETA1.
After I upgraded I started getting frequent disconnections from the wireless
network at work. This weekend the AP at work died, but my troubles didn't go
away.
I brought my laptop home tonight and was getting frequent disconnects here as
well. I have an apple airport extreme (the AP at work is a netgear of unknown
model)
I was able to regain a nice stable connection by running ifconfig wlan0 -ht.
