Maybe your question is, why I use KDE3 and not KDE4? The EeePC has only a 900 MHz CPU and around 16 GByte disk. But even on my 'real' laptop I run KDE3. I think KDE4 does not provide better usability and in general hunts in the wrong direction. Most of my work I do in (x)terminals and I just need something to start other X11 applications. KDE3 fits my needs. matthias -- Matthias Apitz t +49-89-61308 351 - f +49-89-61308 399 - m +49-170-4527211 e <guru@unixarea.de> - w http://www.unixarea.de/ UNIX since V7 on PDP-11 | UNIX on mainframe since ESER 1055 (IBM /370) UNIX on x86 since SVR4.2 UnixWare 2.1.2 | FreeBSD since 2.2.5
