Huh!  I wonder if putting the CVS repository on a CD would let
me use something like this technique for upgrading /etc. ;-)

Peter, speaking of which, whatever happened to those patches to
allow CVS to use a read-only repository?  I think it's the only
hold-up for anoncvs as well, right?
