I have the wallnut-creek snapshot CD (January 1996 2.1). My machine is
a DX4-100 with 48mb ram, Adaptec 2842VL, Seagate 9gig hd (SCSI-2 FAST),
Fujisu 512mg hd (SCSI-1), Creative 6x IDE CDROM....
The system boots fine off the cd. It recognises all of my hardware and
drives. It allows me to create partition entries HOWEVER it keeps
returning an error when I try to create a FS. Thus I cannot get the
system up and running.
The system currently runs stock linux slackware 3.0, windows 3.1,
Windows 95, Windows NT.
What I have done to try to install....
Completly removed all other OS's
Made the Seagate a boot drive
Made the fujitsu a boot drive
Only used the fujitsu
Only used the seagate
Removed all but 16M of ram
I have driver level experiamnce (10yr) so any technical resons would be
understood.
