I am planning to connect my two systems at home and wondering what is my best choice in the $40 to $60 (each) price range? I found that Computer discount Warehouse has a LinkSys LNE100TX card for ~ $60 and wonder whether this will work under FreeBSD 2.1.7 or 2.2 when released? If it is supported, is it at the 10Base-T or 100Base-TX speed? I know that I can pick up NE2000 clones for $30-$40 but I am hoping to be able to use 100Base-T. Or am I asking for too much? Suggestions, criticisms, etc. welcome. Please copy & post. Richard Hykel hykel@nol.net hykel@twisto.compaq.com
