I'm trying to lean Apache 1.3a1 on my home computer, which has just a dial up, dynamic IP Internet connection. My problem is that when I run httpd it comes up with an error saying host lookup failed. What I want to do is be able to access it from Netscape over localhost weather I'm logged on to the Internet or not. When I am logged on I want other people to be able to access it over the Internet using my dynamically assigned IP address. Can I do this easily? Also: The Apache install put httpd into the system startup files. How do I take it out? Thanks in advance. -- Geoffrey Robinson grobin@accessv.com Oakville, Ontario, Canada.
