fvwm has a basic config with 'goodies' buttons, although most of them imply multiple machines on a network. I agree more basic example scripts would be helpful, though, and a similar script for twm would be appropriate. What if the distribution includes a directory which would have sample .fvwmrc, ppp, and other contributed scripts all in one place so the impatient could just _try_ them out? We're only talking a few kbytes each, so it's not like we're looking at a lot of bloat :) It is always easier to modify than to create from man pages, and much as I hate to say it, many of the basic ports, like gopher and apache and CVSup end up generating warning messages on bootup that can be very scary to a newbie. This behavior is much worse on 2.2.5 than I remember from earlier installs. -- oooOOO O O O o * * * * * * o ___ _________ _________ ________ _________ _________ ___==_ V_=_=_DW ===--- Don Wilde [don@PartsNow.com] [http://www.PartsNow.com ] /oo0000oo-oo--oo-ooo---ooo-ooo---ooo-ooo--ooo-ooo---ooo-ooo---ooo-oo--oo To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
