Hi.... I have a problem when installing the FreeBsd. I have a IDE CDROM drive, but when I installing the FreeBSD I always got message : "Failed to load the ROOT distribution. Please correct this problem and try again" I has been try to correct this problem, but it's still. And I try install FreeBSD from DOS Partision. Before installing from DOS Partision, I do something like this : C>MD C:\FREEBSD C>xcopy /s D:\DISTS\BIN C:\FREEBSD\BIN C>xcopy /s D:FLOPPIES C:\FREEBSD\FLOPPIES but it always stop when Installing the program with the message : "Write failur on transfer !" and then... "Unable to transfer the xxxx distribution from wd0s1" and then... "Failed to retreive piece file xxx/xxx.xxx! and the... "Coldn't extract all of the distributions. This may be because the following distributions are not available on the installation media you've chosen". What can I do ?
