Gents, Seems I am having a small problem getting the X server to start using startx or xinit. Whenever I invoke X using either of the two I get the following error: X: 250: Syntax Error: word unexpected (expecting ")") If I run just ./X it starts fine but I have no config files etc. Also, in the book it states that there should be a /book directory on the first CD (which there isnt) where would I find that directory? Thanks for the help, JS PS: If anyone has any problems configuring Kernel PPP let me know...I spent most of the night getting it to work.
