I think this is certainly worth looking at, but deciding whether or not to replace the Hui API with it would require far deeper inspection of it. Is programming in dldialog's scripting language preferable to Hui's C/C++ and Tcl APIs? Is dldialog's UI element selection comparable to Hui's?
