Hi thomas,
yes, I know all about backing up, but I am reluctant to spend the next week
getting everything working again. Up to about 2.2.6, upgrading was a fairly
simple matter, but since then, there have been some pretty major changes...

Personally, I suspect my best option is to build a completly new system from
scratch, hardware and all.
