	If you actually mean passwords, my guess is that DES is installed on
that machine. You want to rebuild or reinstall the system without that
option. If you mean usernames, it's fairly simple to rebuild the system
to use > 8 character usernames. Either write the list or write me
privately and I'll give you info on that.
