I guess this act of courage proves how committed is him to find a solution to the "problem". I guess every novice which just have dropped - by mistake of course - into the lab should put this question to the NetAdmin: "- May I have the root password ?" Belive or not I have asked, once upon a time, the NetAdmin the same question. It was while I was student at the University, right after one of those horrible exams which happened to be passed ok. i was in a good disposition and I bet with my friends that I will put to the NetAdmin - a very old fashioned guy - this question and I did it. (Needless to say that my relations with the NetAdmin where not the best possible at that time.) The only answer I received was this: - Out ! (Was he about to give me some candy ?!? :-) I don't think so ...)
