Hello Andrew, The method underneath indeed worked. However when I start netscape, I get the following error message: netscape: locale 'C' not supported perhaps the $XNLSPATH environment variable is not set correctly ? Warning: locale not supported by Xlib, locale set to C Warning: X locale modifiers not supported, using default X Error: BadAtom Request Major code 18 () AtomID 0x0 Error Serial #27 Current Serial #32 I hope you can make something out of this .... Just to be on the safe side, I put the osf libraries both in /usr/compat/osf1 and the appropriate files also in /etc, /usr /usr/sbin (in ordr to make sure it can find them) Aernoudt Andrew Gallatin wrote: > Looks like i gave you poor instructions.
