Excuse me, I'm confused. Where can I find a list of RAID controllers supported in the FreeBSD Operating System? Is there a 'standard' SCSI controller interface specification on the PCI bus side, that many manufacturer's build to? (chuckle) Otherwise, is the consensus about a $1,000 price range SCSI RAID controller ? For Operating System performance, do many of you setup your SWAP drive on a separate SCSI Controller? Seems that this configuration would improve performance significantly. (especially running RAID 5) Perhaps put the /tmp or /usr/tmp on that? hmmm or ram disk? Cheers, -Alex Steve Kaczkowski wrote: > > "Randy A.
