Okay fine, I will just download FreeBSD and see what the talk is really
about. I am assuming that I can run my networking and GIMP (a GNU
program) under FreeBSD. Now I just need to figure out my hardware
compatibility with the FreeBSD Kernel.

Please take this next joke with some humor and delete the urge to send
flames if you don't like...

UNIX and LSD both coming from Berkeley. A coincidence? I think not!
