I have almost no doubt that I am building curl OK as I follow instructions step by steps and I did may checks with people on the cURL mailing lists. I am trying this in my user account have little help from the hostmaster where I am installed. Can you tell me what you mean by "your archive is damaged"? BTW I noticed that in the "configure" file that comes with the cURL package, the vprint() function is declared as CHAR. But in stdio.h which it is decalred as INT. Could it be that in post 2.2.8 releases, vprint() became of type CHAR ? As for your suggestion to use the ports tree... I guess this is not possible for me as I am doing a custom installation in my user directory and can't have write access to /usr/local Claude Cormier Ormetal Inc.
