Hello, I just have upgraded my machine from 3.3 to 4.0. This system has openssh as a part of the "world" and I decided to use it. It was the beginning of my troubles. When I type "ssh -v localhost" everything goes fine until I try to forward an X11 application. This gives me the following: debug: Received X11 open request. debug: channel 0: new [X11 connection from localhost port 1999] debug: X11 connection uses different authentication protocol. "xauth list $DISLPAY" shows a good looking cookie. $DISPLAY is set correctly (localhost:10). There was no problem with the old ssh (one from ports). Is this a known problem ? Regards, Igor.
