AFAIK it just writes to whatever game directory its in ./logs, to the file Lddmmyy0.log where ddmmyy is the date and 0 is the log number for that day... You did set logging to be enabled right? In your server command line put +log on ? Because logging works fine for me... I run a counterstrike server like so ./hdls_run -game cstrike +maxplayers 20 +map de_dust +log on and the logs can be found in ./hlds_l/cstrike/logs Good Luck! Kal.
