Subject:   MRTG returning zeros

Anyone have an idea as to why MRTG might be returning zeros under the
following:

FreeBSD 4.3-RELEASE
mrtg-2.9.11
Ascend Pipeline 130 (software version 5.0A+) router 

The MRTG faq says that this might be because mrtg is getting no response
from the router, however it can obtain other information from it
(location, etc).

Any ideas might be helpful.
