I want to apply the patch found at http://haikugeek.com/freebsd/boot-ficl302.diff to upgrade FICL. *BUT*, I need it tested on Alpha. It compiles, but I entertain some doubts on whether it boots or not. Particularly since it uses float point, and since Alpha has a long history of needing small loaders. Volunteers, please do it soon, as to take advantage of my present lack of better things to do at work. -- Daniel C.
