Hello Aedan

You cant  run any kind of BSD on a Mac, unless you have  some kind of PC
emulation software (VMware, Virtual PC etc) but that would be  extremely
resource  hungry and defeat the whole purpose probably

Didnt  realize Athlon was really  part of the K6  family, but all AMD 
chips  are good.  Try the  mobile mailing list for specifics on your
model laptop though
