Hello, Running FreeBSD 4.2 One of my disks, the system disk, an EIDE, started developing bad blocks w/ hardware I/O errors - "Replacement time" MAXTOR drive replacement Would like to copy and maintain my original config., data etc. on the new sys. disk, how should I go about doing this, from scratch - including the partitioning of the new disk. Thought 'dd' might be appropriate but would it create partitions etc? Thanks To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
