Hello. Newbie question again: This is the first time I try to compile XFree86. Before that I took a look at /usr/ports/x11/XFree86/pkg-descr where it says: XFree86 is a added-value pack for X11R6 that supports several versions of Intel-based Unix and Unix-like operating systems. XFree86-3.0 was part of the X11R6 core distribution. AFAIK the XFree86 package shipped with my FreeBSD 5.1 RELEASE cdrom is version 4.3, but why the port say it is 3.0?home | help
