I bought The Complete FreeBSD book with the 4 CDs ( my way of supporting them :) ) from what I read, I need to have a full copy of the source in order to update FreeBSD. I have seen security patches in the FTP sites, and all I want is to apply them. Do I have to do a one day compiling to apply these patches? Can't I just patch FreeBSD with a command similar to rpm -Uvh xxxx.rpm in linux? To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
