I recently grabbed an old packard bell and tried to install 4.3 on it. Everything went well until after the "last chance" prompt. After writing the partion info to the drive, it says: "without my init...panic going nowhere...syncing disk" in white text in black background overlapping with the Sysinstall. And then it reboots. Anyone has any idea? Thanks. Ray, To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
