Hi, Anyone knows if GIANT-LOCKED is something new in 5.3 ? I have on the same machine running 5.2 which does not have any giant-locked in dmesg. The only difference is that I changed the bios to boot 5.3 from the 3ware raid drive. (oh, and I disabled a lot unused drivers in the 5.3 kernel config.) Thanks. -chacs 5.3 messages: Mar 7 18:04:13 ymir syslogd: kernel boot file is /boot/kernel/kernel Mar 7 18:04:13 ymir kernel: Copyright (c) 1992-2004 The FreeBSD Project.
