Hello, This may not be FreeBSD specific, but since I'm running nearly a 100% FreeBSD shop, I figured this would be as good as place as any to ask a question. Also, it might just turn out that the solution for me might be software that runs on FreeBSD. Does anybody have recommendations for a good solution to alert me while I am not at work if something goes wrong with my infrastucture/network/servers? In other words, if I am at home, I need to be alerted if one of my FreeBSD servers go down, but also if the router, firewall or switches go haywire. I'm thinking along the lines of getting a cell phone, and have a central server with a modem dial my cell and send a text message, either directly or via a 3rd party service, if anything goes wrong. I am the sole responsible admin for babysitting my network and server farm, and we're setting up critical systems that must be 24x7, so now I must be 'on call' 24x7. Is there anything out there that will assist me with this? Thanks, DW
