Just kidding :-)

Yes, for a trivial, non-impact change like this one, just commit it
(after carefully checking that the patch does what it should, only
that, and in the right way) and try to ignore the ensuing email-storm
from people who have too much time on their hands.

It's called "The Peter Principle", and everybody who feels an urge
to comment on this email should spend a trip down to the local
library first, and not reply until they have looked up, read and
understood what "The Peter Principle" is about, and why there
are never any bikesheds at an atomic plant.
