As noted several places one of the issues related to all this is the
complete inability to read/write (infinite series of timeouts) to/from
/dev/acd0 for ant SATA cd... this is become a super pressing issue for
me becuase for business reasons I need to make a set of cd's ASAP
("yesterday" ;-))
