When I install Thunderbird3

thunderbird-3.0.1
thunderbird-dictionaries-20060220_4
thunderbird3-i18n-3.0.1

It does not adapt to what I have in /etc/make.conf


# Firefox-i18n
FIREFOX_I18N=sv-SE
# Thunderbird-i18n
THUNDERBIRD_I18N=sv-SE

Firefox instals xpi-quick-locale-switcher-1.7 set to Swedish. It can be 
disabled and Firefox keeps the swedish setting.

Any suggestions on how to get Thunderbird to display Swedish?
