Hi,

ok, I updated all Ports, pkg_deleted my Eclipse, removed the=20
/usr/local/lib/eclipse Directory (which still existed due to the Plugins =

installed as "root"), re-built and installed java/eclipse, rm -rf'ed=20
~/.eclipse, ~/workspace and /root/workspace.

Then started Eclipse -as User-, installed PyDev. Install went thru fine; =

the files being installed ended up in=20
~/.eclipse/org.eclipse.platform_3.5.0_946975857/plugins/. However, upon=20
restart I didn't see anything of PyDev.

Then started Eclipse as root and installed PyDev - install went thru=20
like the "User" one - but upon restart I did see PyDev. Removed my=20
~/.eclipse and ~/workspace, started Eclipse as User again - and saw PyDev=

The Configuration (Help/About Eclipse SDK/Installation=20

Then tried to install Log4E as User - however, again I didn't see it=20
after the Restart.

To get my Eclipse into a "workable" state again I'll reinstall all=20
plugins as root and launch eclipse as root regularly to get any Updates.

Does anyone have a hint?

MTIA, Cheers,
