[-- Attachment #1 --] Hello, according to tar(1), the base system tape archiver is bsdtar since 8.x , which lacks support for multi-volumes. I guess I can easily omit that restriction by installing gtar from archivers/ in the ports collection. Is there any plan to implement split volume support again for the base system? Any better app to feed tapes these days in FreeBSD?
