I've searched, read, googled ... all references seem to indicate that any
release after 4.3 should find the 'aac' devices from either the boot floppies
or the bootable CD ...

I'm baffled -

I've loaded FreeBSD v 5.0 onto a machine, built a kernel, and booted to
it too - no luck (I made certain option aac was enabled!) ..

Is there some trick I don't know about?
Or is the Poweredge 1650 somehow built to disallow FreeBSD?

Please ?!?!?!?
