The FreeBSD Radeon driver, ported from Linux 3.8, doesn't have the power management feature. This new feature, which landed in Linux 3.11 as experimental, allows the driver to adjust power & clocks. Without this, the factory default is used: for some people, the card has low power & clocks, for other people (maybe you), it's the other way around. -- Jean-Sébastien Pédron [-- Attachment #2 --] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (FreeBSD) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iEYEARECAAYFAlKrFVIACgkQa+xGJsFYOlPXygCgjc4XLZdV7iNqWV2JxUPmALLq 0GEAn0zIBPi9oJm2UVYHvU1KT4Y3Ik5u =So4y -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----home | help
